Support
For setup, calibration, compatibility, or privacy questions, emailinfo@bugfactory.hu.
Include the app version, output mode, Windows version, and a short description of the problem. Do not attach logs or screenshots until you have reviewed and redacted personal data.
Requirements
- Windows x64, an ordinary compatible webcam, and a clearly visible face.
- A supported local game-output path and permission to configure the selected game.
- Time for calibration and per-game response tuning.
First calibration
Place the webcam near the display, avoid strong backlight, keep your face in view, and use a comfortable neutral pose. Follow every calibration target without stretching to the edge of your range.
Output setup boundaries
FreeTrack direct uses shared memory and temporarily manages the current user’s NPClient Location value. opentrack UDP defaults to 127.0.0.1; a configured non-loopback host receives mapped pose/output data.
Game compatibility varies. Recenter after changing seat, camera, display, or posture.
Known limits
- Lighting changes and face occlusion can reduce tracking quality.
- Camera placement and calibration quality affect the usable response.
- Camera and hardware performance can affect timing and stability.
- Game behavior varies by title, protocol support, and local configuration.
Share diagnostics carefully
Session JSONL logs may contain raw facial landmarks, pose, timing, paths, and technical errors. Screenshots can reveal faces, usernames, rooms, applications, or game-account data. Review and redact before sharing.
